Wonderful places to stay during the weekend
Practical info by Inner Peace Conference, 16 February 2019
Are you living outside of Amsterdam?
We've partnered with some of our favourite quiet places in town. These places offer a discount to Inner Peace ticket holders.
1. Bed en Buffet
Two bright and comfortable rooms in one of Amsterdam’s finest area's, surrounding the Spiegelkwartier, which is known for its antique shops and galleries. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, a queen-size bed and large windows, allowing plenty of natural light to pour in. The larger room overlooks the Lijnbaansgracht, one of Amsterdam’s longest canals. The smaller Wetering Suite offers a view of the Tweede Weteringdwarsstraat, a narrow road in the middle of the residential Wetering neighbourhood. The kitchen divides the two rooms.
2. Hotel V Fizeaustraat
From Amsterdam with Love
Hotel V's motto is: “from Amsterdam with love”. With the growth of each hotel V in Amsterdam, their love of the city grows even more. The newest member of the hotel V family- hotel V Fizeaustraat - has 91 rooms, 4 and a half stars, a lively culinary lobby, plenty of parking and a unique event space. Located close to Amstel Station and overlooking the gorgeous Amstel skyline, their newest hotel is in a beautifully designed “hidden in plain sight” building in an undiscovered and delightfully calm corner of Amsterdam with easy access into the city centre.

3. SWEETS hotel
a new experience
SWEETS hotel is for curious travellers. A radically different way to experience Amsterdam. SWEETS hotel transformed tiny bridge houses along the canals of Amsterdam into independent hotel suites that accommodate a maximum of two guests. The tiny bridge houses of SWEETS hotel are industrial heritage and represent several styles of architecture: from the Amsterdam School to Modernism. Every bridge house tells its own story. The oldest bridge house is built in 1673 (Amstelschutsluis, located in the middle of the Amstel River) and the most recent bridge house dates from 2009 (Sluis Haveneiland). The bridge houses are scattered across Amsterdam and each house has an interior that matches with the architectural period of the exterior. By using the limited number of square meters in a smart way, SWEETS hotel playfully corresponds with the Tiny House Movement: living on a modest amount of square meters in an efficiently classified space.
