Walk with Karlijn Visser
Article by Inner Peace Conference, 16 February 2019
Karlijn Visser (31) is above all a student of life and co-founder and editor-in-chief of Holistik.nl: the biggest online magazine in the Netherlands for the stylish & sustainable do-gooder. She loves to write enriching, personal articles about consciousness, joy and responsibility that help people to create a fulfilling life. Yoga is an important source of inspiration for Karlijn. This ancient Indian philosophy helps her with personal growth. Because what happens on the yoga mat is a reflection of yourself off the mat, and that makes it so fascinating. Karlijn is currently following a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and calls herself a warrior for human potential.
The Psychology of Spirituality // Kristin Skotnes Vikjord
09:00 - 10:00, Vondelkerk
"Kristin is clinical psychologist and yoga teacher. I once read a very interesting article from her in Yoga Magazine about yoga-rexia; when a healthy habit has gone too far and becomes unhealthy. I would love to hear her speak about bridging science and psychology with spirituality."
Learn to Breathe // Max Strom
10:30 - 12:00, De Duif
"Several of my close friends told me a lot about the amazing Max Strom. They saw him first last year at the Inner Peace Conference and followed him last year during his workshops. I would love to learn more about the breath and how it is connected to our stress levels and relations."
From the Inside out: the power of dance // Samadhi Dance Company
13:30 - 14:30, Vondelkerk
"Dancing works liberating for me. And I must say; I haven't danced for too long. That is why I see this workshop as an invitation to fully immerse myself in the moment and let me be guided by the sounds of the healing music."
Panel: Embody Feminine Wisdom // LamaTsultrim, Scilla, Ida Resi & Satya
16:00 - 17:30, Amstelkerk
"I am a woman myself and convinced that the feminine energy is exactly what the world needs now. That's why I am very curious about the vision of these three wise women. Especially how we can invite the man to allow the feminine energy as a force (instead of a threat) that also helps him to live his full potential."
