Kimberly has been immersed in the study and practice of Buddhist philosophy and meditation for the last 20 years. She has received personal instruction and training from some of the greatest Tibetan teachers of our time who authorised her to teach. In addition, she has also studied with some of the leading scientists, pioneers and teachers of mindfulness, loving kindness and self-compassion in the West. For the past 10 years, Kimberly has lead meditation workshops, retreats and courses around the world. When she became seriously ill in 2015, she (re)discovered the crucial relationship between mind and body in a whole new way, as well as the importance of self-compassion, which she is now passionate about exploring and sharing. She is also the co-founder and lead teacher of bodhi, a meditation app and international community dedicated to bringing a clear mind and an open heart into every aspect of our lives. Born in America, Kimberly has been based in France for the past 15 years and recently moved to Amsterdam with her Italian husband. She is also an accomplished photographer, bringing together meditation and creativity through the lens of her camera.
"The way Kimberly communicated reached in and opened my awareness. She conveyed such an atmosphere of acceptance and showed me how to work with my habits. An inspiring and loving presence."
